What’s included in each visit or session?

  • Prenatal Visit
    Before baby arrives
    Online or in-person

Our prenatal visit is a space for you to feel heard, supported, and prepared — for birth and for the tender postpartum season that follows. We'll talk through your birth preferences, practice some comfort techniques, and create a plan for how you can feel nurtured. I will also help you plan for the postpartum days to come.

  • Postpartum Visit
    After baby arrives
    In-home visit
Postpartum visits are centered around caring for you as you adjust to life with your new baby. My focus is on supporting you and checking in on your physical and emotional well-being. Whether that means offering a listening ear, helping with light household tasks, or simply making sure you’re resting and cared for, I’m here to “mother the mother.” Baby care support is available, yet the mama will always be my priority during this tender season. My postpartum visits are a time to slow down, breathe, and be cared for.

  • Focused Feeding Support Session
    In-home visit
Whether you plan to feed by breast or bottle (or both), I am ready to help you feel informed and confident about nourishing your baby. This session will be a one-one-on visit in your home focused on creating a feeding plan and/or addressing any feeding challenges (such as latch issues, pumping difficulties, and feeding schedules). I am a doula trained in lactation support and know when to refer mamas to a lactation consultant or pediatric dentist, if needed.

  • Birth “Plan” Guidance
    Before baby arrives
    Online or in-person

Confused about your birth plan and what to include (or not include)? I’m here to help! You don’t have to navigate this alone. I help mamas formulate their birth preferences unique to their own situation, body, and desired outcomes.

FAQ’s

  • I’m currently offering birth support on a very limited basis due to my family schedule. I can also refer you to a birth doula if you’d like help finding one!

  • Great question! I believe it’s so valuable to prepare for postpartum before you are in the “thick of it.” Our prenatal visit will allow us to get to know one another, talk about your birth preferences, and address your concerns for after birth. I can also give you ideas for how to prepare your heart, home, and family for this transitional season.

  • The postpartum season is the season after childbirth, and I believe it does not have a firm end. I focus my services on families within the first year following birth.
